Colorado Therapy Associates is owned and operated by Brian Simms, M.A. CCC-SLP. Brian is a certified Speech-Language Pathologist and Assistive Technology Specialist. He earned his Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association after receiving his Masters from the University of Colorado at Boulder. He then conducted transdisciplinary play-based assessment and intervention for young children in home and classroom settings. As a faculty instructor with the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, Brian conducted assistive technology evaluations and training for individuals with disabilities, their families, and professionals in home, community and school settings. He has presented at conferences nationally on a variety of assistive technology topics. He as consulted in the schools, home and work place settings and is on the Adam's Camp Board of Directors.
